  They should realize and understand that people who are coming into the ER are likely suffering some kind of pain/illness and may be slightly irritable. Try being kind and patient with the people and maybe they'll reciprocate. They don't need the sass in their times of trouble. I went in for severe abdominal pain which doctors thought was appendicitis. When they went in, they discovered it was something else, but decided to leave the appendix near the infected area, despite having the option and opportunity to just take it out. Now 7 years later, I have to get surgery to have my appendix taken out, which could have been removed when they were in my body 7 years ago... The doctor asked me why it wasn't taken out in the first place and asked where I had my previous surgery. I replied with I don't know, I came to this hospital, you tell me. She had no response.

  The staff were very nice and accommodating despite the fact that they were extremely busy and overworked. They took time to help me with everything, and to explain each medication and test that was given.

  WORST hospital. Don’t even think about it. I’ve lived in ajax for 20+ years. Meanest nurses and staff. Stay away.

  Utter chaos and lack of organizational skills as well as incompetent staff landed my loved one in fatal condition. Do NOT go here for something serious. When time is of the essence - seek out the best medical care possible. This hospital has the capability of a walk in clinic and they do nothing to let the patient know of their condition especially in time sensitive matters. Thankfully they got my loved one to a better hospital and they were okay.

  The 4 hour wait time was not as frustrating as the 10 seconds the doctor spent on the diagnosis of my issue. The nurse's are more concerned, and seem better educated, then the actual doctors. I would recommend the walk-in clinic over the actual hospital...

  Nurses are rude, the doctors don't know what they're doing, it's a total mess in that hospital.
